Right now, this is available only to Xbox Insiders, but that&#8217;s a <a href=\"https:\/\/support.xbox.com\/en-US\/help\/account-profile\/manage-account\/xbox-insider-program\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/support.xbox.com\/en-US\/help\/account-profile\/manage-account\/xbox-insider-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">free program that anyone can join<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also notable is that the prices below are described as &#8220;introductory launch pricing,&#8221; and that wording suggests the prices may change in the future. Microsoft is calling these &#8220;cloud playtime packs.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-cloud-playtime-packs-pricing\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cloud playtime packs pricing:<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>10 hours for $4<\/li>\n<li>25 hours for $8<\/li>\n<li>50 hours for $12<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyone who buys these cloud playtime packs will get access to cloud gaming without ads and with perks like shorter wait times and higher-quality streaming. These packs will be available to more people starting in November.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A version of Xbox cloud gaming <em>with <\/em>ads is also available to Xbox Insiders without a Game Pass membership.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As for those who <em>do <\/em>have a Game Pass membership, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/game-pass-is-getting-worse-and-more-expensive\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/game-pass-is-getting-worse-and-more-expensive\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">changes are coming to cloud gaming in November<\/a>. Microsoft will put limits on how many hours per month people can use the service, and then allow people to pay more to unlock more time. Below is a breakdown of how many hours you\u2019ll get included with the tier of Game Pass you\u2019re subscribed to:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Game Pass Ultimate:<\/strong> 15 hours<\/li>\n<li><strong>Game Pass Premium:<\/strong> 10 hours<\/li>\n<li><strong>Game Pass Essential:<\/strong> 5 hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Microsoft said it understands this is a \u201cmeaningful change,\u201d especially for those who use the cloud regularly for gaming.
