The game reached a record of 833,921 peak concurrent users on Steam on November 1. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The game&#8217;s developer is based in China, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/phantom-blade-zero-is-already-proving-its-prelaunch-hype-was-no-fluke\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/phantom-blade-zero-is-already-proving-its-prelaunch-hype-was-no-fluke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">majority of preorders for the game came from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phantom Blade Zero&#8217;s sales out of the gate are strong, but do not come close to another hit game from the Chinese game developer scene, Black Myth: Wukong. That game <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/black-myth-wukong-is-now-one-of-the-fastest-selling-games-ever\/1100-6526082\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/black-myth-wukong-is-now-one-of-the-fastest-selling-games-ever\/1100-6526082\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sold 10 million copies over its first three days<\/a>.
