The only problem is that GTA 6 is a strictly single-player game and has no online mode, at least not one that Rockstar has talked about yet. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Research firm Piper Sandler recently <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/markets\/stocks\/articles\/two-shares-rise-1-5-134832141.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/markets\/stocks\/articles\/two-shares-rise-1-5-134832141.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">polled 9,000 teenagers<\/a>, with 90% saying they intend to play GTA Online. It would be shocking if GTA 6 doesn&#8217;t eventually have an online mode, but the company has not said anything about that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Product listings for GTA 6 at retailers make it clear that the game is a &#8220;single-player experience,&#8221; so it&#8217;s not something Rockstar is trying to be coy about. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"GTA 6 - How Criminal Profiles Could Change Grand Theft Auto\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/klc0fQmAL6k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The poll also found that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barchart.com\/story\/news\/8647747\/why-piper-sandler-thinks-you-should-buy-take-two-stock-before-november-19\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.barchart.com\/story\/news\/8647747\/why-piper-sandler-thinks-you-should-buy-take-two-stock-before-november-19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">40% of respondents<\/a> said they planned to make additional in-game purchases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, the survey found that 70% of respondents who own a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S plan to buy GTA 6. Of those, 55% said they are planning to buy GTA immediately, and 15% said they would wait several months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before this, Circana reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/gta-6-breaks-a-record-and-its-not-even-out-yet\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/gta-6-breaks-a-record-and-its-not-even-out-yet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nearly 1 in 3 console and PC gamers in the US plan to buy GTA 6<\/a>; that&#8217;s the highest purchase intent that Circana has ever measured.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Analyst James Callahan reiterated a $290 price target on Take-Two&#8217;s stock. After getting crushed so far in 2026, Take-Two stock today stands at about $210\/share (after a huge rally today, November 4).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It remains to be seen what Rockstar may do with the existing GTA Online for GTA 6 after GTA 6 comes out&#8211;whatever the case, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/with-gta-6-online-rockstar-is-deciding-who-to-make-mad\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/with-gta-6-online-rockstar-is-deciding-who-to-make-mad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gamers are going to be mad<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GTA 6 launches on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/gta-6-preloading-start-date-and-what-to-know-about-digital-and-physical-copies\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/gta-6-preloading-start-date-and-what-to-know-about-digital-and-physical-copies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Preloading starts on November 10<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/unofficial-gta-6-worldwide-release-times-revealed-and-the-us-gets-it-almost-last\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/unofficial-gta-6-worldwide-release-times-revealed-and-the-us-gets-it-almost-last\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gamers in the US will be among the last in the world to get to play the game<\/a>, so maybe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/how-to-safely-pack-your-ps5-for-a-trip-to-new-zealand-so-you-can-play-gta-6-early\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/how-to-safely-pack-your-ps5-for-a-trip-to-new-zealand-so-you-can-play-gta-6-early\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pack your bags for New Zealand<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grand Theft Auto 6 releases on November 19, and a lot of people are very excited to play some kind of online mode, according to a new study.
