That may have already begun, but not in the way anyone might have expected. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">World Cup fans have spotted a curious detail on the French men&#8217;s national team bus&#8211;luggage that appears to carry the Modern Warfare 4 branding. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can clearly see the branding in the image below. The game takes place on the Korean peninsula as North Korea launches an invasion that &#8220;threatens to destabilize the world.&#8221; You play as <a href=\"https:\/\/callofduty.fandom.com\/wiki\/Park_(Modern_Warfare_4)\" id=\"https:\/\/callofduty.fandom.com\/wiki\/Park_(Modern_Warfare_4)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Private Park<\/a> (portrayed by The Last of Us actor Young Mazino) while a second story focusing on Captain Price takes place simultaneously in other parts of the world. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;As Price\u2019s off-book mission collides with the forces behind the invasion, the war spreads beyond anyone\u2019s control,&#8221; reads a line from the game&#8217;s description.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ahead of release, Activision will host a multiplayer beta for Modern Warfare 4, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-4-open-beta-confirmed-and-you-can-get-in-early\/\" id=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-4-open-beta-confirmed-and-you-can-get-in-early\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">you can get in early by preordering<\/a>. Unlike the previous two games in the series, Black Ops 6 and Black Ops 7, Modern Warfare 4 will not be on Game Pass at launch.
