I am not enthusiastic about what feels like an inevitable future wherein games and gaming subscription services are inundated with advertisements<\/a>. That said, I am excited to reinstall Skyrim so I can play an elaborate Ikea ad.<\/p>\n

Newly released on Bethesda’s Creations site, Kallax Storageborn<\/a> is a remarkably in-depth Skyrim mod that features the titular Ikea item. But rather than simply adding the Kallax shelving unit as an item you can use to organize your in-game house, the mod turns it into a companion that follows you around, holding an unlimited number of items on your behalf. Oh, and the Kallax is voiced by Matt Berry.<\/p>\n

You can get a taste of the mod in the video below, showing off Berry’s performance and even a modified version of the opening “You’re finally awake” sequence. There are new items to obtain, including the Allenblade, which looks like a giant allen wrench, and the Meatball Helmet.\u00a0<\/p>\n
